Cotton Thread

$5.99

Sometimes you just want to color something soft and delicate, right?

As I brainstormed on “soft and delicate”, I came up with a million white flowers. Another white flower? Ho hum.

Then I saw one of those cotton commercials, you know— “the fabric of our lives” and suddenly, I had my soft.

I added some winding thread on an antique wooden spool, playing off the dried browns of the cotton bolls. I loved drawing and coloring this image and I hope you enjoy it too.

This image is Ideal for Copic Marker, colored pencil, watercolor, or mixed media applications. Illustrated by Amy Shulke.
